AUSTRALIAN SCI-FI: 'KINDRED'
Phil was hired to rewrite Kindred, an Australian sci-fi script, by one of the world's top Creative Directors. Phil worked on both the 5th and 6th drafts of this unique Aussie sci-fi action/adventure, billed as an Indigenous Australian take on Black Panther. Kindred has since gone on to win or place in screenwriting competitions and film festivals and been signed to shopping agreements with two different production companies.

INDUSTRY FEEDBACK
""I love that is it set in the Australian Outback. The dialogue is great, fun, funny at times and makes me really like each character in their own right. I also like the action - simple descriptions that are not overdone, yet give me the full picture of what is going on in that world. I think it could be a great project."
Sophia Banks
Director
(rep.: Circle of Confusion)
“Kindred is imaginative, action-packed, and exciting sci-fi script… filled to the gills with obstacles and action, never letting the stakes or danger let up for even a moment… a thrilling story in a world with an interesting mythology and plot that doesn’t stop moving.”
The Black List
reader analysis
“(Kindred is) fantastic, adventurous, and loads of fun as it takes readers across The Outback, introduces them to uncommonly featured peoples, and manages to tell a story of grand proportions… The action and conflict were absolutely awesome… The stakes were high, the energy was great, and the fights were thrilling to read.”
